This Payment Policy outlines the payment terms, accepted methods, credit account eligibility, and consequences of late or dishonoured payments at CaterChoice. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please contact your nearest branch if you have any questions about your account.

Section 1

Credit Accounts

  • 1Customers may apply for a credit account after trading with the company for at least three months.
  • 2The company will make a decision based on suitable references and cross-references with a Credit Agency.
  • 3Until a favourable decision is made, payment must be made upon.
  • 4The terms of a credit account require payment of all invoices for one calendar month to be made on the 15th day of the following month.
  • 5For example, all January invoices are due for payment on the 15th of February.

Section 2

Account Arrears & Holds

  • 1Customers must settle all accounts according to the agreed terms.
  • 2If a customer's account is in arrears, the account will be put on hold.
  • 3The company has the right to initiate legal proceedings to recover outstanding amounts without prior notice.
  • 4The company reserves the right to exchange information with credit agencies.
  • 5Late or non-payment of a credit account will be considered a breach of agreed terms and will render the Credit Terms null and void.

Section 3

Dishonoured Payments

  • 1If payment due to the company is dishonoured, a fee of £30 (or an amount advised by the company from time to time) will be charged to the customer's account to cover bank and administrative costs.
  • 2If payment is dishonoured, the customer's terms will change to payment upon.
  • 3The account will be put on hold until cleared funds are received in full to settle the outstanding balance.
  • 4If non-payment occurs, the company reserves the right to charge Statutory Interest on overdue balances from the date on which the payment was due.

Payment Methods & Limits

  • 1The company offers multiple payment options: cash, credit card, debit card, Pay by Bank, cheque, banker's draft, bank transfer, CHAPS, or BACS.
  • 2In the case of certain business cards (corporate or commercial cards), the company reserves the right to charge a fee.
  • 3The maximum amount of cash that will be accepted by the company is £8,500.
  • 4The company only allows a maximum cash payment by coins of £60 in £1 or £2 coins.
